Friday the 13th just turned into your lucky day

Finally, we are opening 308 Harrison Avenue on Friday the 13th! We don't miss the irony. We aren't superstitious, but we are a little stitious.

We can't wait to share this new space and all the upgrades with you. You now have more than 500 games to play! The game library is now organized to make it easier to find something to get to the table that will be a great fit. There's a family-friendly shelf and a teen-plus shelf. The games are also ordered by the recommended minimum age and complexity with colored stickers to indicate their ratings.

The menu is getting an upgrade with new drinks including LOTUS plant-powered energy, a new popcorn salad bar and now all menu and play prices are tax inclusive so you know exactly how much you'll pay. Playtime is $6.50 (tax-inclusive) for two hours or $11 (tax-inclusive) for all-day play. You only pay the play fee if you are playing games. So come on in, have a seat in a comfortable space, and enjoy a Poadie and a Popcorn Salad. The new comfy living room set is the perfect spot to gather!

You'll also find some new items in the retail space. There's a fresh stock of LEGO, new board games, and restocked board games. The D&D section has gotten some love with Chessex dice, D&D-themed candles, hot sauce, D&D tea, and more Mythical Meats. You can continue to get Lorcana and Star Wars Unlimited with hosted events and soon you'll also be able to get and play Magic The Gathering! The freeze-dried candy section from Space Candy is fully stocked with lots of new options. It's a great place to find a Father's Day gift or grab dad a gift card.

There are some upgrades we are still working on in our back space. The space will soon include a separate room that will be used for a quieter place to play, events, classes, parties and D&D sessions.

You'll see familiar faces like our manager Caitlin and customer relations specialist Kelsey who will be back next week. We also have some new staff you'll get to meet -- Seph, Allie and Xander. These three eager young people are going to be amazing but please keep in mind they are still training and we are all learning the new layout and space so we appreciate your patience.
